Building Community
Our theme in 5th grade is building community and that is exactly what we are doing! We have had a great start to the year and we are thrilled about our learning activities.
Plum Creek Literacy Festival!
We traveled to the Plum Creek Children's Literacy Festival in Seward, Nebraska on October 5th. The Concordia College Campus was beautiful and we had a fantastic time. We met two of our featured 5th grade authors, Andrew Clements and Peg Kehret. We participated in Literacy on the Lawn, and visited the Bartels Museum to see some wonderful rock & mineral specimens. Thanks to the PTA for funding our trip!
