Donations and Personal School Supply List

Lincoln Public Schools provides all necessary school supplies. Below are suggested donations and personal school supplies. Due to LPS District policy, hand sanitizer must be Purell or Germ-X, contain at least 60% alcohol and unscented.  Disinfecting wipes must be Clorox.

Kindergarten:
Donations of hand sanitizer, Kleenex, Elmer’s glue sticks, 24-count size Crayola crayons, #2 yellow pencils and Expo fine tip dry erase markers.

1st Grade:

Donations of hand sanitizer, tissues, black fine tip Expo markers, colored Expo markers, glue sticks, crayons, stickers, markers or Ticonderoga #2 yellow pencils.

2nd Grade:
Donations of two boxes of Kleenex, dry erase markers, and pencils to share with the class.

3rd Grade:

Donations of Kleenex, expo markers and hand sanitizer.

 4th Grade:

Classroom contributions are always appreciated if you would like to contribute.  Below is a list of supplies that students in 4th Grade classrooms will use this year.

  • 2 or 3 boxes of Kleenex
  • 2 or 3 boxes of sharpened #2 pencils
  • 2 or 3 rolls of scotch tape on a disposable dispenser
  • 2 or 3 packages of wide ruled 3 hole punched notebook paper
  • 4 or 5 poly-material 2-pocket folders
  • 4 composition notebooks (100 page – not spiral)

 

5th Grade:

Classroom contributions are always appreciated if you would like to contribute.    Below is a list of supplies that students in 5th Grade classrooms will use this year.

  • 1 1/2 inch 3 ring binder
  • 1 zipper pencil pouch
  • 4 pocket folders
  • 3 spiral notebooks
  • 3 large and 1 small book cover
  • checking pens and highlighters
  • Kleenex
  • # 2 pencils
  • hand sanitizer
  • EXPO markers
  • Clorox Wipes

Holiday Help

The Salvation Army, located at 2625 Potter Street, is taking application for families who are in need of holiday assistance. Applications for families who are seeking Christmas assistance will be accepted from October 31stNovember 9th. Families are to bring a picture ID, proof of residence, and social security cards for the members of the household. The Salvation Army will provide food and toys for families who qualify.
